  1. We are here today to celebrate the miracle of love. Andrew Wald and Kirsten Perry have found that miracle in each other and now desire to share their love all the days of their lives. Are both of you willing to give your hand to the one whose heart you hold? (Both answer): Yes, we are. Andrew do you have the ring for Kirsten? Please repeat after me Kirsten, this ring is a token of my love. / and a sign of my commitment. / I marry you with this ring, / with all that I have and all that I am. Kirsten do you have the ring for Andrew? Please repeat after me Andrew, this ring is a token of my love. / and a sign of my commitment. / I marry you with this ring, / with all that I have and all that I am. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon the fields. May the light of friendship guide your paths together. May the laughter of children grace the halls of your home. May your lives be blessed with an everlasting love. May God grant you a new beginning as He opens the door to life's deepest and richest experiences. May the life you build together be a lasting testimony that a second chance is for those who never give up believing in the power of faith, hope, and love. Andrew and Kirsten, You have committed and proclaimed your love for each other and to your children. By the giving and receiving of rings and these gifts, I now pronounce you husband & wife, and family. (The Officiant shall say): Andrew, you may kiss your Bride. (Bride and Groom kiss). (The Officiant shall say): Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my privilege to introduce to you for the very first time, (Mr and Mrs.) Wald and family. ohc_Andrew-Kirsten_Wedding.pdf

    Sikhism

Sikhism is classified as an Indian religion or Dharmic religion along with Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism. The basis of Sikhism lies in the teachings of Guru Nanak and his successors. Sikh ethics emphasize the congruence between spiritual development and everyday moral conduct. Sikh in Punjabi means “learner,” and those who joined the Sikh community, or Panth (“Path”), were people who sought spiritual guidance. Sikhs claim that their tradition has always been separate from Hinduism. Nevertheless, many Western scholars argue that in its earliest stage Sikhism was a movement within the Hindu tradition; Nanak, they point out, was raised a Hindu and eventually belonged to the Sant tradition of northern India, a movement associated with the great poet and mystic Kabir (1440–1518). The Sants, most of whom were poor, dispossessed, and illiterate, composed hymns of great beauty expressing their experience of the divine, which they saw in all things. Their tradition drew heavily on the Vaishnava bhakti (the devotional movement within the Hindu tradition that worships the god Vishnu), though there were important differences between the two. Like the followers of bhakti, the Sants believed that devotion to God is essential to liberation from the cycle of rebirth in which all human beings are trapped; unlike the followers of bhakti, however, the Sants maintained that God is nirgun (“without form”) and not sagun (“with form”). For the Sants, God can be neither incarnated nor represented in concrete terms.

    Taoism

According to Taoist practice, at the deepest level of our being—in our spiritual essence—we are neither man nor woman. Learn how this concept applies throughout Taoism, including its history, scriptures, ceremonies, and tradition.
  8. Unlike the other traditions, the Baha’i Faith is relatively young but still has much to offer to the environmental discussion. As Peter Adriance and Arthur Dahl tell us in the overview essay, “the Bahá’í appreciation for nature goes far beyond its utilitarian value, to see it as a significant source of knowledge at the spiritual level.” But the spiritual is intimately and essentially interconnected with pressing, practical concerns, as “from a Bahá’í Faith perspective, the problems of ecology and the environment cannot be separated from all the other problems facing the world today, and require a holistic integrated approach, both scientific and spiritual.” Thus, any Baha’i Faith discussion of the environment is essentially cross-disciplinary and also addresses issues ofgovernance, economy and inequity, and material sustainability, all at both local and global levels.
  9. The first step is to contact Rev.Dennis to get you setup with access and get introductions out of the way as well as reserve his services for your special day. Next, download the Wedding Ceremony Worksheet which looks like this (example of page1 of worksheet below. you can download from the Weddings club) You should have access to the Weddings area which you will find Ceremony as a tab which is where you will look through options Now you are viewing the Ceremony Blog, it becomes more helpful when you filter based on categories that you'll find on your Wedding Ceremony Worksheet. Once you have the Wedding Ceremony Worksheet filled out, provide your results to Rev.Dennis and he'll put your Ceremony together for you to review and work out the finer details.

A very loved man has been called to our Father.
  14. The first step is to contact Rev.Dennis to get you setup with access and get introductions out of the way as well as reserve his services for your special day. Next we need to know what you like for a ceremony that fits you both. START with the Wedding Ceremony Form you can fill out online which looks like this Everything probably is very straight forward until you get to the Ceremony Type. Here I am going to walk you through the Complete Ceremony (Pre-Built) to show you how it works since the Custom Ceremony is very similar. After you fill out the top portion, under Ceremony Type you select Complete Ceremony (Pre-Built) You will presented with a drop down for which Pre-Built Ceremony you would like but since you don't know what each Pre-Built ceremony is like you can view each one by clicking on the Click here to view options link which will open another tab in your browser showing you the choices I have created which will look like this. You can click on each one and look at how the wording is and see if it fits you both. If the one you clicked on isn't to your liking you can click the back arrow on your browser and click on another one to see if that fits better. Just repeat the process until you find one that you like (if any). If you find one you love then back on your original tab in your browser where the form is, select the pre-built ceremony you would like me to use to marry you. Under comments you can add any additional notes. For instance if the ceremony is at an address but is in a certain room you would mention that here, or if at a park, what pavilion, etc.. Once you have the Wedding Ceremony Form filled out, Rev.Dennis will put your Ceremony together for you to review and work out the finer details.
